Journey to Prague, the city of a hundred spires built on seven hills. Visit the UNESCO heritage town of Kutna Hora, famous for its silver mines. Continue on to Cesky Krumlov with the second largest castle in the Czech Republic, which dominates the cities three hundred historic buildings. ITINERARY Day 1 FLIGHT TO PRAGUE Upon arrival in Prague you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax in this beautiful city, with its many fine squares, avenues and castles. Choose a nice restaurant for dinner and enjoy the live entertainment. Day 2 PRAGUE After breakfast depart on a half-day city sightseeing tour of Prague. The city, built on seven hills on the banks of the River Vltava, is a veritable treasury of arts and architecture. The afternoon is at leisure. Visit some of the many museums and galleries scattered throughout the city or Wenceslas Square, the hub of shopping and nightlife. Day 3 PRAGUE After breakfast, the day is yours to spend at leisure exploring the “Golden City”. Prague is unquestionably a city best explored on foot. Take the ‘Royal Road’ - past route of major processions - across Prague and see the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock and the Charles Bridge. Day 4 KUTNA HORA After breakfast the morning is yours to enjoy at leisure. In the afternoon you will depart for a half-day tour of Kutna Hora. Founded in the 13th century, this city, full of splendid Gothic monuments, is also an UNESCO listed protected city. Visit the gothic St. Barbara’s Cathedral with its valuable murals and the former royal mint that once produced Prague groschen. Return to Prague for overnight. Day 5 CESKY KRUMLOV Depart this morning for a full day tour of the charming South Bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov. Full of little villages and ponds, this medieval town was the first UNESCO listed town in the Czech Republic. The unique urban complex comprising of three hundred historic houses and the castle and Chateau, the second largest after Prague Castle is rightly called ‘Pearl of the Renaissance’. Return to Prague for overnight. Day 6 PRAGUE After breakfast, the morning is yours to enjoy at leisure. This afternoon enjoy an hour long cruise on the River Vltava with music and refreshments. Relax and take in the fantastic views of the river, lined up with exquisite historic monuments such as, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the National Theatre. Afterwards enjoy a walk along Parizska Street through the former Jewish Quarter to the Old Town Square. Day 7 FLIGHT HOME After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home. ESCORTED FACILITIES This tour is based in Prague. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. It includes a half-day tour of Prague, a half-day tour of Kutna Hora, a full day tour of Cesky Krumlov and a river cruise. You have plenty of free time to explore the delights of this wonderful city.
