The island of Saint Maarten-Saint Martin is the smallest land mass in the world to be shared by two different nations. St. Martin just doesn't feel that small... Its central mountain range provides for a rugged and interesting terrain, with winding roads up and down the hills, through small villages and still plenty of untouched land. The Caribbean's largest lagoon is the Simpson Bay Lagoon, landlocked with the exception of two narrow channels with draw bridges. The Lagoon is large enough to have a real sail and is home to a giant fleet of yachts, which are either berthed in one of the luxury marinas or anchored in the sheltered waters. St. Maarten has become the yachting center of the Caribbean, home port to some of the world's most outrageous megayachts. For those who can only bear so much sun worshiping, St. Maarten/St. Martin boasts a huge array of activities to offer, for all ages and interests. For those of you who enjoy action on the water, St. Maarten/St. Martin truly qualifies as paradise. Her crystal clear waters are host to every type of water sport imaginable. Sailing, surfing, body-boarding, wake-boarding, jet-skiing, para-sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and now, the latest fad, 'Kite-surfing' or 'Fly-surfing'. For those who are inexperienced but have “always wanted to try it”, lessons are available for all activities. Located on a private peninsula between two beautiful bays in Dutch St. Maarten, the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort is minutes from the Caribbean's best shopping and dining, but feels worlds apart. The Divi Little Bay Beach resort wraps around a soft, wide arc of white sand washed by the gentle blue waves of St. Maarten's Little Bay. Guests of Divi Little Bay enjoy spacious hilltop suites and beachfront guestrooms, a host of amenities. Beachfront guestrooms offer private patios or balconies with beautiful ocean views and walk-out beach access. All guestrooms feature one king sized bed, or two double beds with air-conditioning, television, and clock radio. Customer review: We stayed at the Divi LIttle Bay Village Beach Resort In St Maarten and really enjoyed it. The condo in which we stayed was excellent, a spacious one-bedroom with granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops, a jacuzzi and separate tile shower and two televisions, including a flat screen in the bedroom. The condo had a terrace with table and chaises overlooking the ocean and since there are only three units in each villa, it's quiet and private.
