This was our first visit back to Medhufushi since the Tsunami tragedy, we loved it before but it’s even more special now since going more upmarket. We have visited many Maldivian resorts, but Medhufushi remains our favourite quiet, luxury retreat, we heartily recommend it to couples  looking for a relaxing, more select experience.On first entering our water villa, we were immediately impressed by the décor, upmarket yet not overstated, a spacious king sized bed, firm and comfortable, perfectly complementing the room design and bespoke furniture with matching scatter cushions and bedspread.
