Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, may be just a short hop from the Italian mainland, across the narrow strait of Messina, but it is a world apart in atmosphere and attitude. Everything Italian seems a little more appetising here, not only the food but the history and culture as well.
 

A three stars Hotel, in Mediterranean style, situated in a small bay near the first Greek colonization of Sicily called Naxos. There are marvellous views of the hillside town of Taormina with its famous Greek-Roman theatre and Mt. Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.  The Hotel boasts gardens and terraces down to the sea, with private beach and facilities and ample parking.

Customer Review: We booked at short notice and were very pleased with the Nike. The location is at the far end of the bay of Naxos, but it is a totally flat walk along the sea front to reach the majority of restaurants. The hotel was slightly old fashioned but in a really pleasant
way. Although there is no pool, the terraces at the rear of the hotel are wonderful to use, there are steps down into the sea, which was easy to use. It is right on the waters edge, looking out to sea......just idyllic
There are uninterrupted views and it is extremely quiet. The bar service provides snacks and drinks all day, Ideal to relax and unwind, no noise at all.Would recommend the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel Nike should suit most travellers , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
