Cape Town Winter offer
Day 1
Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be staying for 4 nights.
On arrival, check in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight: The Table Bay Hotel – Bed only
Situated on Quay Six of Cape Town’s V & A Waterfront, the Table Bay Hotel can offer rooms with a view either of Table Mountain or the sea as far out as Robin Island. All 329 rooms offer ensuite bathrooms with separate shower, walk in cupboards, butler station, honour bar, safe, satellite TV, radio, vanity units with hair dryers, direct private line for telephone, fax and modem and air-conditioning. The salt-water pool is heated and is surrounded by a mahogany pool deck with chaises lounges. Guests can also relax in the Jacuzzi or have a professional poolside massage. Drinks and light meals may be served from the pool bar. Floor to ceiling glass encloses the boutique gym. The Health Spa has a spectacular view of Robben Island and is equipped with steam and therapy rooms and offers a range of fragrant aromatherapy massages and holistic treatments. Enjoy mealtimes at a selection of fine restaurants: The Atlantic Restaurant, The Conservatory, The Lounge, The Union Bar and the Pool Bar. The hotel offers conference facilities for groups of up to 300.
Day 2 and Day 3
Time at leisure. Some of the attractions not to be missed when visiting Cape Town:
- A trip to the top of Table Mountain
- Sundowners at the V&A Waterfront
- Tea at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
- A tour of the historic Groot Constantia Estate
- Exploring the Public Gardens and South African Museum
- Bargain hunting on Greenmarket Square (daily) or Green Point Stadium (Sundays)

Day 4
After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and transferred to the Cape Town International Airport, where you will connect with your flight to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
On arrival at KRUGER you will be met by a representative and transferred to your lodge – Jock Safari Lodge, which is situated in the Kruger National Park on a private concession.
Overnight: Jock Safari Lodge – Half Board Basis + Afternoon Game Drive
Jock Safari Lodge is situated in the southern area of the Kruger National Park at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers, half way between Skukuza and Malelane airports, offering 6.000 hectares of exclusive traversing in the first private concession in this famous National Park. 12 luxury air-conditioned suites overlook the river, each with their own private sala, mosquito nets, ensuite bathroom with inside and outdoor showers. The fine African cuisine is presented in a variety of locations, from silver service in the elegant dining room, to an eating adventure under the panorama of the African night. Amenities at the hotel include a swimming pool, fenced security in the camp from predators, Internet access, as well as a bar and lounge area.
Day 5
A typical day on safari starts at the crack of dawn as the birds announce the new day. Guests are woken with freshly brewed coffee, and freshly baked rusks. Once up, guests make their way to the rendezvous area. After a quick briefing, they set off in open 4X4 vehicles for an exhilarating morning game drive.
This is a beautiful time to experience the bushveld. As the day breaks, so the wildlife comes to life. With a bit of luck, experience Africa’s Big 5 up close and personal.
After game drive we return to the lodge, arriving back between 08h00-08h30 (depending on activity of game) for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast guests have time to relax and enjoy the facilities of the lodge, or return to their chalet and take a well-deserved nap. For those who are feeling energetic, maybe take a bush walk with your ranger and find out about the finer aspects of the bush.
A light lunch is served around 14h00 and then guests usually rest until the afternoon game drive, which leaves the lodge at around 16h00. At sunset, we stop in a scenic spot and have sundowners; thereafter the game drive becomes a night, arriving back at the lodge around 20h00 for a sumptuous dinner. After dinner guests usually retire for the night, often having a shower under the stars!
Overnight: Jock Safari Lodge – Full Board + 2 Game Drives.
Day 06
After breakfast and an early morning game drive you will be collected from your lodge ands and transferred to the KMIA Airport in time for your departure flight to Johannesburg.
