The white, sand beach is located in the middle of a large bay. It is wide and long and slopes gradually down to calm, safe swimming in the clear Caribbean Sea.

The Sandpiper has its own watersports operation and they offer complimentary windsurfing, snorkeling, waterskiing, kayaking, Hobie Cat and Sunfish sailing.The Sandpiper is situated on a long white sandy bay, with calm waters on St. James Beach. Swimming is excellent and a wide range of watersports are available.

Customer Review: We've just come back from a wonderful stay at The Sandpiper in Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the staff and owners made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.

The Sandpiper is in Holetown, where there are a number of shops and good restaurants, though the food at the Sandpiper is excellent. The hotel is next to the beach, with coral reefs which were excellent for snorkelling and the hotel provided a range of complimentary activities such as sailing, speed boat rides, kayaks which were all great fun.

We will definitely return - the sooner the better!
