Mauritius

Mauritius will enchant you, will uplift your soul, making you feel that you belong to the chosen few. Every visitor enjoys personal attention. Every encounter is an opportunity to discover a friendly face. Behind each smile lies the promise of a unique holiday.

The 4-star Tamassa stands at the end of a long avenue of mature coconut palms towering skywards.
A picture postcard landscape stretches across sugarcane fields to the mountains beyond. The south-west is the most unspoilt part of Mauritius, with spectacular walks and drives through lush, tropical hillsides and a range of open-air activities in beautiful countryside. The atmosphere is one of eternal youth, friendly, cheerful and enthusiastic. Tamassa is a new Mauritian experience!

Standard Rooms: The décor is strikingly attractive, with pure, simple lines contrasting with bright green touches on the bedspreads, and an inspired image of a bird of paradise on the wall above the headboard. With the terrace door wide open, the colours in the Room seem to blend with the trees and plants outside.
Each Standard Room has either a queen-size bed or twin beds. The bed cover, specially designed for the hotel, gives an immediate feeling of intimacy.

The restaurant’s terrace overlooks the swimming pool.
Modern elegance greets guests, with gobos casting beams of light on the pure, contemporary lines of the interior, where shades of orange merge into rounded lines and cubic shapes.
The main restaurant is divided into three and based on the exciting concept of open kitchens, which adds a touch of theatre to the range of international cuisine. For the first part of the day, Tamassa specialises in lavish buffet breakfasts and lunches. Dinner is either à la carte or a sumptuous buffet.

Customer Review: We got 7 nights all-inclusive accommodation for a bargain price (due to the hotel's pay5-stay7 special offer). For what we paid, the value was outstanding.

As a watersports fan, I spent much of the time in the beautiful lagoon. The snorkelling is amazing as the reef is only 100m out from the shore and the hotel's glass-bottom boat does two trips a day. It was like swimming in a tropical fish tank!

I think the outstanding features of the hotel are the fantastic service of the near 400 staff, and the modern, sophisticated and stylish design of the place. No expense has been spared in the rooms and we both wanted to take our bedroom and bathroom home with us!
