Customer Review: We flew to Sri Lanka with Emirates and the service with the airline was excellent. Our flights meant we arrived at The Beach Hotel at 10am and we were expecting access to our room at 2pm, however after receiving welcoming drinks, cool towels and a warm reception from staff we were shown straight to our room.
The rooms are of a high standard. The showers is fabulous, bath large enough for two with candles, water, chocolates, flowers and towels replaced every day, balcony view of the pool, beach and ocean was beautiful. Beds are larger than king size and good range of English TV for those unexpected rainy moments.
We were half board and the food did not disappoint, service was very good but was noticably better when manager, Hyacinth, was in the vicinity!! Staff were very helpful and friendly and bearing in mind the long hours and long week they obviously work they always had a smile and friendly manner.
The gym is well equipped, the 50 metre infinity pool is great and you would be hard pushed to find a better aspect for a pool anywhere. I am pleased I have visited Sri Lanka and expecially The Beach Hotel! |
