St. Petersburg

City Overview:

Truly a magical city of palaces, pastel painted buildings, sparkling waterways and an abundance of art treasures - this is definitely a city to visit all year round.

St. Petersburg grew out of a swamp to become one of the most stylish and beautiful cities in the world and is considered the 'Venice of the North' . This title is very true for a city criss-crossed by canals, boarded by elegant buildings and crossed by hundreds of individually crafted bridges. The whole ensemble is particularly attractive under a layer of snow, sparkling in the winter sun, or spectacular with the never ending days of early summer.
