Day 3- 19h30 Teatro San Gallo- The Carnival Show and Romantic DinnerAn original way to relive the emotion that is the Venice Carnival through theatre and technology.Theatre and multimedia technology to tell the story of the city of Venice. The Carnival Show, which takes place just behind Piazza San Marco in the newly restored Teatro San Gallo, is the coolest way of spending an evening in Venice: live theatre, music and multimedia projections, right after a standing dinner, informal just as the ritual of aperitif in Venice. This show blends theatre, music and food, to tell the story of Venice through an emotional involvement. The storyline begins with the 1913 Carnival and narrates, through flashbacks and visions, the story of the Republic of Venice from its origins onwards. Day 4 - 18h00 Wine and Bacari Tour ('Ombre' and 'Cicchetti') - Riva degli Schiavoni Get a taste for authentic Venice, wandering between several bacari (wine bars), to nibble a range of finger foods. Try some local traditional delicacies such as polenta, baby octopus, and spicy bread with a glass of the local tipple, known as an ombra meaning 'shadow'. During your gourmet voyage, you may encounter such local delicacies as: Polenta e baccala, folpetti, Fegato alla Veneziana, Fritto misto (fried fish) and Sarde in saor.
Day 5- 14h30 - Original Venice Walk & Gran Canal Boat TourEnjoy a morning walking tour of St. Mark's Square and learn about the history that lies behind the walls of its most famous landmarks; the Basilica and its Byzantine heritage, the Doge's Palace and its adjoining prisons. Then leave the square to discover the 'real Venice' by entering a labyrinth of narrow passageways and alleys, where a magical city of meandering canals, punctuated by delicate bridges, awaits you. After a walk of about two hours, you will have free time at disposal for lunch and to relax before starting your cruise down the Grand Canal and the smaller canals (as per below schedule under please note section), while your guide introduces you to the history that lies behind the many buildings that line their banks.03h10 minutes - departure point Entrance to the Royal Gardens.
